(CMN) where donated funds are given to
Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, western Wisconsin’s regional CMN
hospital. Providing assistance to our community is more than just a part of our
mission statement—it's a way of life for our staff.
Making a Difference
As part of the nationwide Credit Unions for Kids effort, WESTconsin
raises an average of $15,000 to $20,000 annually for CMN. Last year’s total was more than
$15,400.
 In total, the credit union has raised nearly $130,000 for Gillette,
through a variety of means: bake sales, card sales, employee silent auctions and
luncheons, and cookbook sales. The February Chain of Hearts campaign raises
$10,000 each year.
When you see our CMN fundraising signs in your local WESTconsin office,
you’ll know that we’re gladly doing our part to put a smile on the face of a

in St. Paul, MN, where more than 900 western
Wisconsin children receive surgery and treatment annually, regardless of
financial status. The support and care they are given is available—in
part—because of your generosity. WESTconsin employees make an extra
effort to involve themselves in the spirit of the CMN organization. Credit union
staff have toured the facility to see firsthand how their efforts positively
affect Gillette patients and their families. Employees have also donated over
140 DVD's to patients of Gillette, for viewing while they receive treatment at
the hospital and then to take home.
