How to access Mobile Deposit

  • Enroll in Online Banking if you're not already enrolled

  • Download our app on the App Store or Google Play2

  • Use the app to login to your account and tap "Deposits" from the menu

Making a Deposit

  1. Choose a suffix

  2. Enter the amount

  3. Take pictures of the front and back of the check

  4. Review and submit!

Note: To ensure that you receive your deposit notifications check that your email address is correct. To confirm the email address listed, login into WESTconsin Online’s full site, click on My Settings. The primary email address will be listed under Personal Information. If the information needs to be updated, click on Update Personal Information.

 

Mobile Deposit Quick Tips

  • Make sure the check has been properly endorsed – signed and states ‘for Mobile Deposit’

    • Business accounts are required to have the following:

      • Business Name

      • Signature of an authorized signer from the business account OR business stamp ordered thru WESTconsin Credit Union

      • ‘for Mobile Deposit’

  • Make sure the check is not folded or torn

  • Lay the check on a darkened flat surface in a well-lit area when taking pictures

  • Keep hands clear of the check when photographing

  • Take picture vertically above the check, not at an angle

  • Confirm that the entered check amount matches the amount on the check

  • Checks payable to any person or entity other than you are not eligible for mobile deposit

  • Stale dated checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, government checks, insurance checks, US savings bonds, travelers cheques, convenience checks or other items that we deem unacceptable are not eligible for mobile deposit

  • Transaction history is normally visible within one business day

  • Funds in most cases will be available by the second business day after the day of deposit; extended holds may apply

  • Save the deposited check for 90 days
