Tax Credits
With the new tax credit and using WESTconsin Realty first-time home buyers may receive tax credits of up to $8,200 until April 30, 2010. Plus current home owners are now eligible to receive a grant up to $6,500 if they purchase a new or existing home between November 7, 2009, and April 30, 2010. Your tax professional can advise you on your personal situation.
The tax credit does not need to be repaid, if the homeowner occupies the home for three years or more.
