MENOMONIE | Dunn County Historical Society HVAC Fundraiser

Monday, March 1st, 2021 | All Day

The Dunn County Historical Society is looking for your help! Their HVAC system that heats their "Collections Area" went out unexpectantly and they will need to purchase a new HVAC system. This is very important as the over 40,000 items in this area need to be temperature controlled in order to ensure their safety. DCHS is hoping to raise $10,000 to cover the cost of this new system.
Please make checks out to DCHS and mail to P.O. Box 437 Menomonie, WI or donate online via PayPal by using this link

The Dunn County Historical Society was founded in 1950. Its mission: The Dunn County Historical Society discovers, preserves, interprets and shares knowledge about the history of Dunn County and its role in Wisconsin, and inspires interest in the past. DCHS maintains for the public trust more than 20,000 artifacts and 20,000 archival items, including photographs, journals, letters, newspapers, and local ephemera. The society has almost 300 members, and attracts scores of donors each year.  It was named the Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Year in 2014, and has been honored with awards from Main Street of Menomonie in 2015 and 2016. Each year, the museum brings in some 1,200 school children from the region and generally more than 1,000 people attend on-site programs.
