Lora Benrud Chief Executive Officer
Lora Benrud began working at WESTconsin Credit Union in 1984 and is the fourth president in the company’s history. Prior to becoming CEO in August 2014, she held the position of Chief Financial Officer for 15 years. Lora has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mount Senario College and a Master of Science degree in Management Technology from University of Wisconsin – Stout. She serves on local boards for Stepping Stones of Dunn County, the Western Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Dunn County Economic Development Corporation. Lora is also on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Credit Union League and Chairperson of the National Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council for the Minneapolis Federal Reserve, meeting twice every year with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC. Lora enjoys sporting and outdoor activities, traveling, and reading.
Jay Fahl Chief Experience Officer
Jay Fahl began working at WESTconsin Credit Union in 1989. He possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jay serves on the School District of the Menomonie Area Board of Education as President, Menomonie High School Business & Marketing Education Advisory Committee, and DECA district and state Career Development Conferences as judge and awards session announcer. Many listen to Jay on radio play-by-play for local sporting events. In his free time, Jay enjoys supporting his children’s activities, traveling, and downhill skiing.
Jim Wookey Chief Operations Officer
Jim Wookey has been an employee of WESTconsin Credit Union since 1994. He obtained his education from the University of Iowa with an emphasis in Business Administration. Jim’s involvements include Menomonie Rotary Club, Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce, the Hudson Hot Air Affair Committee, Hudson’s Sunrise Lion’s Club and many other community efforts. In his personal time, Jim enjoys golfing, reading and spending quality time with his family.
Niki Yarrington Chief Talent Officer
Niki Yarrington has been working at WESTconsin since 2003, and was promoted to the credit union’s Corporate Team in November 2012. Niki possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, and has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Dunn County. In her free time, Niki enjoys traveling, camping and family activities.
Michael Tomasek Chief Information Officer
Michael Tomasek joined WESTconsin’s Corporate Team in January 2013. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeVry University in Addison, Illinois, and has earned multiple certifications in the industry. Michael regularly volunteers at St. Joes Elementary School where he assists staff with their IT needs. His hobbies include studying IT security, learning to play piano, cooking and sports.
Jerilyn Kinderman Chief Financial Officer
Jerilyn Kinderman was hired as CFO in May 2014. Jerilyn is a graduate of University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and minor in management. Her community involvements include serving on the Board of Trustees for Eau Claire Interfaith Hospitality Network and Board of Directors for the L.E. Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling and volunteering.
Mark Willer Chief Lending Officer
Mark Willer became a member of WESTconsin’s Corporate Team in December 2014, and possesses 30 years’ industry experience. Mark attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for Marketing. His many community involvements include board member of the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, Chippewa Valley Museum Foundation, Junior Achievement and St. Mary parish Endowment fund, as well as Citizen Member of the Finance Committee and zoning Board of appeals for the City of Altoona. Mark’s interests include supporting his children’s activities, and attending or watching sporting events, especially Packers and Badgers games.
