Password Expiration

Posted:

In efforts to make the best possible experience when using WESTconsin Online and our Mobile App, our team has reviewed and researched how to reduce the frequency of changing passwords. We are happy to announce as of October 1 members will no longer be required by WESTconsin to update their passwords on a regular basis. We have taken behind-the-scenes security measures to ensure members’ security and e-safety are in place. These added security measures allowed WESTconsin Credit Union to remove the password expiration for our members!

Please note that temporary passwords will still expire after 1 week. Also if you have any concerns that your account may have been compromised, please change your password immediately and then call our Service Center for futher review.

WESTconsin Credit Union has been serving members since 1939, and membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the Wisconsin counties of Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Sawyer, Taylor, Trempealeau, and Washburn, or the Minnesota counties of Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Isanti, Pine, Ramsey, Wabasha, and Washington, with a $5 minimum deposit in a Membership Savings Account. Credit unions are financial institutions owned by their accountholders, and member funds are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to at least $250,000.
