Overdraft Privilege

Thank you for your interest in our Overdraft Privilege Program. Our mission is to provide you all the information you need to make an educated decision about your overdraft privilege options.

What is Overdraft Privilege?

Overdraft Privilege determines how WESTconsin Credit Union will handle your transaction when you don’t have enough money in your checking account or linked accounts at the time of a transaction.

What is changing?

We will not include ATM and everyday debit card transactions within our Overdraft Privilege program without first receiving your consent to do so.

Without affirmative consent, ATM and everyday debit card transactions may be denied.

What are my choices?

  1. If you decide to “Opt In” you will receive the benefits of our Overdraft Privilege service to minimize the inconvenience you may experience when funds are not available.
  2. If you do nothing, ATM and everyday debit card transactions may be denied when funds are not available.

For more information on our Overdraft Privilege Program, please click here.

Opt in only applies to personal checking accounts with debit cards. Business accounts and Membership Savings Accounts are not eligible to consent to Opt in.

If you would like to Opt In to include your ATM and everyday debit card transactions in our Overdraft Privilege Program, please sign the form below
