Bonjour from the WESTconsin Credit Union Travel Club! We can help take the worry and work out of planning your trips. Each year, WESTconsin plans international and national trips as well as regional trips. These exciting destinations include: Australia, Paris, China, Alaska, New England, Nashville and Branson. The Travel Club has traveled regularly to the Minnesota State Fair, the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Galena during the Fall Color Tour and Green Bay for an exciting Packers game!

Grease | March 22, 2017

Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in town, and Danny Zuko, the school’s coolest greaser, have a secret summertime romance, but when they get back to school, everything is different. Sandy attempts to navigate the tricky Rydell High School social waters and catch Danny’s attention again, but Danny is chiefly concerned with maintaining his tough-guy reputation. In the end, the Pink Ladies help Sandy figure out how to win back the leader of the Burger Palace Boys. Cost is $92; includes transportation to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, dinner and show ticket.

SOUTH PACIFIC | May 11–12

Join us for an exciting trip to Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific is a story of love, of heroism, of courage, of optimism, of America. Set during World War II this epic tale is told with humor, passion, beauty, action, and one of Broadway’s most impressive musical scores featuring unforgettable songs. The bus will leave on Thursday, May 11 and we will enjoy the evening’s signature buffet before the show. Overnight accommodations will be in Fort Atkinson; we will travel home on Friday, May 12.  Cost is $225/person, based on double occupancy; includes transportation, buffet, ticket to the show, hotel and breakfast.

NORTHERN MINNESOTA IN THE SPRING | June 12–14

Travel north with us to Ely, Minnesota to visit the International Wolf Center, the North America Bear Center, and the Dorothy Molter Museum. Fortune Bay Resort & Casino will provide our overnight accommodations.

Next we will travel east along the North Shore visiting interesting sites along the way. In Duluth, we will tour the Glensheen Mansion followed by a harbor cruise and lunch on Lake Superior. Enjoy overnight accommodations in Canal Park before traveling home on the third day. Cost is $420/person based on double occupancy and $590/single. Includes one breakfast and three lunches.

MINNESOTA STATE FAIR | August 24   

Join us for our annual trek to the Minnesota State Fair! Cost is $38; includes transportation and ticket into the Fair.

Washington, D.C. | October 7–15

Take in Washington, D.C.’s most visited sites including the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania, Gettysburg National Military Park, Arlington National Cemetery and the National Cathedral. We’ll enjoy a guided tour with time to revisit special memorials on the Mall. After leaving the D.C. will visit George Washington and Thomas Jefferson’s homes, Mt. Vernon and Monticello. COUNTRY CHRISTMAS | November 30   

Kick off the Christmas season with a day trip to the Plymouth Playhouse in Plymouth, Minnesota. Cost is $68; includes transportation, lunch and show ticket.
