April is Youth Literacy Month!
In celebration of Financial Literacy Month, WESTconsin is excited to host a $MART Bingo activity from April 1–30. Youth members and community members are invited to participate and play $MART Bingo, a fun and engaging game designed to teach valuable money management skills, catered to youth and young adults.
Starting April 1, bingo cards are available for pick up at your local WESTconsin office, participating community partner locations, or can be downloaded digitally from our website and social media platforms. Drop off completed bingo cards at any WESTconsin office and pick up a prize while supplies last.
Throughout the month, WESTconsin offices will also offer Youth Activity Books to spread the word about the credit union’s free financial education resources. From interactive online tools like Banzai! and GreenPath, to free personalized financial coaching, there’s something helpful for everyone, no matter your age or stage in life.
$MART is WESTconsin’s signature financial literacy program, built around a philosophy that drives its educational efforts. The acronym $MART stands for:
- $upporting financial literacy within our communities
- Mentoring credit union members and members of the community on their financial journey
- Advocating for credit unions and financial literacy
- Relationship-building with credit union members, educators, parents and members of the community
- Teaching credit union members and members of the community about finance
Through $MART, WESTconsin reinforces its commitment to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools needed for lifelong financial success.
