Dear Members,
I hope your summer is off to a fantastic start! It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through 2026, and I’m excited to share some of the latest updates here at WESTconsin.
Did you know WESTconsin provides real estate services through WESTconsin Realty? Our local agents assist sellers with expert pricing, targeted marketing, and skilled negotiation to maximize their return. For buyers, they provide personalized support, from connecting you with trusted lenders to identifying the right homes and negotiating, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. This time of year, we see strong seasonal momentum for both buyers and sellers. Inventory is gradually improving, giving buyers more choices and easing some of the intense competition of recent years. Work with WESTconsin Realty to make confident real estate decisions this season.
It’s thanks to members like you that we’ve been able to give back and honor our roots in meaningful ways this year. Here’s a look at some of the impact we’ve made together so far.
We proudly serve more than 128,000 members and manage over $2.2 billion in assets. So far this year, loan growth has exceeded $24.9 million, and we have paid more than $11.9 million in deposit dividends to our members. Our strong financial position allows us to provide lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and ongoing support for our communities.
With your help, we’ve also raised over $7,500 for charitable organizations through our fundraisers and over 1,600 non-perishable food items for community partners throughout our service area. Our next Scrub-A-Dub Drive will take place in August and will help ensure students have the personal hygiene products they need for the school year. We thank you for your continued support in giving back to our communities!
I’d like to offer sincere congratulations to the 29 exceptional high school seniors that are recipients of the 2025-2026 WESTconsin Scholarship Program. These students exemplified dedication and achievements both inside and outside the classroom. Since the start of the program, we have awarded nearly $383,000 in scholarships to invest in the bright future of our young members. Congratulations again to these recipients!
We recently honored our roots in agriculture by celebrating June Dairy Month. Thank you to all who shared a message of gratitude to our local Wisconsin farmers. Originally Menomonie Farmers Credit Union, WESTconsin has a long-standing history of supporting the agricultural community. We are proud to recognize our local farmers and continue to celebrate their dedication and hard work, year after year.
Lastly, we are excited to share that WESTconsin was recently awarded the 2026 Verified Employee Listening Badge from McLean & Company. This designation recognizes organizations that demonstrate a commitment to understanding their employee experience. We are proud to have built a culture where employees feel heard, valued, and engaged.
