Fall Shred Events and E-Cycle Events

Fall Shred Events

If you have sensitive documents that need shredding, WESTconsin is hosting free community shred events at the following locations. Please limit your documents to one cubic foot-sized box/bag.

Tuesday, October 13:

• Rice Lake Office | 21 Burton St | 8–9 a.m.

Thursday, October 15:

• Chippewa Falls Office | 1680 E Park Avenue | 9–10 a.m.
• Eau Claire Office | 1111 W Clairemont Avenue | 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

Tuesday, October 20:

• Hudson Office | 1601 Maxwell Drive | 8–9 a.m.

Services are free of charge and performed by ShredAway. There is a limit of one cubic foot sized box/bag. Contact ShredAway at (715) 835-0811 for additional shredding needs.

E-Cycle Event

WESTconsin is excited to announce our first Electronics Recycling (E-Cycle) Event! This event is open to the community and provides free recycling of old electronics.  

Thursday, October 15 

• The E-Cycle Event will take place in the parking lot between our Menomonie-East Office and Administrative Center | 3333 Schneider Avenue SE | 11 a.m.–1 p.m. 

Accepted items include TVs, computers, printers, DVD/VCR players, radios, keyboards, laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, charging cords, cables, wire, etc. 

Items that will not be accepted include freon appliances (refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner, dehumidifier), major appliances (washer, dryer, range, dishwasher, microwaves, etc.), small appliances (vacuum, blender, toaster, etc.) light bulbs, and loose batteries.
