WESTconsin Credit Union Celebrates National Cooperative Month 

October is National Cooperative Month.

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are owned by our members. That means we proudly invest our profits back into our membership through things like higher dividend rates, lower interest rates and fees, and community involvement.

To celebrate International Credit Union Day on October 15, we will be supporting the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition by donating $0.10 for every debit or credit card swipe made, up to $1,000. This donation supports their mission to advocate for public policy, education, and research that improves the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

Throughout the month of October, WESTconsin will also host the World’s Finest® Chocolate fundraiser benefitting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals—Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN, and Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. In 2025, over $12,000 was raised during cooperative month and our annual Hearts of Hope fundraiser to benefit CMN. Every purchase helps provide critical care and support to local children and their families when they need it most.
