Easily Move Money Between Your Accounts with External Transfers (A2A)

Need a simple way to move money between your WESTconsin account and your accounts at other financial institutions? We’ve got you covered with External Transfers, also known as Account-to-Account (A2A) Transfers. 

This convenient tool lets you securely transfer funds between your WESTconsin account and your accounts at other banks or credit unions, all through WESTconsin Online or the Mobile App

What Can You Do with External Transfers? 

  • Send money to your WESTconsin account from an outside financial
  • Move money from your WESTconsin account to another financial institution
  • Set up one-time or recurring transfers, perfect for budgeting, saving, or paying bills

How to Get Started 

  1. Log into WESTconsin Online or the Mobile App
    • Online: Go to Move Money > External Transfer (A2A)
    • App: Tap Transfer > External Transfer (A2A)
  2. Accept the Terms & Conditions
  3. Add an External Account 
    • Choose your other financial from the list and log in securely using your online banking credentials, or
    • If your financial isn’t listed, enter your account and routing number manually. We’ll send a small test deposit to verify your account.
  4. Verify Your External Account 
    • If you added your bank manually, keep an eye on your external account for a small deposit.
    • Once you see it (within 1–3 business days), return to online or mobile banking to enter the verification code.
  5. Start Transferring! 
    • You’ll be able to schedule transfers right away. Choose the amount, date, and frequency that works for you.

A Few Things to Note 

  • Edit, cancel, or view upcoming transfers in the Activity Tab anytime.
  • External Transfers aren’t available for Foundations accounts, business accounts, money market accounts, or minor accounts.
  • Transfers typically process by midday the next business day, depending on when they’re submitted.
  • You can set up alerts to notify you when a transfer is sent, delivered, or coming up soon.
