• I am going to be receiving a severance package. How should I handle that?

  We can schedule you a time to sit down and meet with the WESTconsin Investment Advisor team or a Financial Coach to go over the best way to handle your severance package. Call the Service Center at (800) 924-0022, visit one of our office locations, or email info@WESTconsincu.org to make an appointment!

• I have a 401k. Is there something I can do with that?

  That’s great you have some retirement savings and are working toward that goal. We can get you in contact with the WESTconsin Investment Advisors to walk you through your options by visiting one of our office locations or calling the Service Center at (800) 924-0022.

• I am concerned about being able to make my consumer loan payments due to layoff or reduction in income. What are my options?

  We understand that this can be a very stressful time. We always try and work with our members. We have several options.

  • If the member has loans with us that they are concerned about - If you are having a hard time making loan payments to us, we recommend that you speak with a Consumer Loan Specialist to explore ways that we can help make the payments more manageable for you. Contact them by calling the Service Center at (800) 924-0022.
  • If the member does not have loans with us – Through our partnership with GreenPath, a non-profit focusing on financial wellness, we can provide you with free financial counseling and have many other resources to help you! Get started at greenpath.com!

• I am worried about making my mortgage payment due to layoff or reduction in income. Can you help me?

  This must be a very stressful time for you. We are here to help! Our Member Solutions team would be happy to assist with arrangements for your mortgage. Get in contact with them by calling the Service Center at (800) 924-0022.

• Is WESTconsin offering any special programs to help those impacted by the HSHS and Prevea closures?

  While we are not offering specific programs for those affected by the HSHS and Prevea closures, we do have several resources available that can help, including financial coaching, Member Solutions, WESTconsin Investment Advisors, and more. Those resources can be found on our website under the Resources for Navigating Uncertainty page.

• I am changing employers or will be receiving unemployment benefits. How do I update my direct deposit information?

  You are able to find your routing and account number at the bottom of your WESTconsin checks, by logging into WESTconsin Online or the Mobile App, calling the Service Center at (800) 924-0022, or visiting one of our office locations.

• I will no longer be receiving direct deposit from an employer. Will that impact my MVP status?

  If your direct deposit status will be changing, please contact our Service Center at (800) 924-0022 or one of our office locations to review your options.
