NEW RICHMOND, WI—WESTconsin Credit Union is pleased to support an all-new playground in New Richmond with a $25,000 donation to Will's Playground. This project is working to build a universal playground that allows children of all abilities to play together, thus improving the play experience for everyone. Adults who have disabilities will also benefit from this playground in that they will be able to play alongside their child.

Marie Gremore, Vice President of the New Richmond WESTconsin office, believes “Will’s Playground will be an amazing addition to the New Richmond community and a great compliment to Mary Park and the local trail system.” She continues, “this project embodies our commitment to Inspiring Better in our communities.”

The estimated cost for the project is $500,000, which includes preparing the area, playground features, and equipment, installation, landscaping, and restrooms. Ideally, funds needed will be raised by the end of 2022. According to the Will’s Playground website “Will’s Playground will untie children, families, and community citizens through play,” it continues that the playground equipment will “have a usable lifespan that will last for generations to come.”
